  • As the decade of the 80's transitioned to the 90's, professional guitarists began to ask for heavier gauged picks in a variety of shapes that produced a tone similar to Celluloid Picks. D'Andrea experimented with various materials including Celluloid to meet the demand. Our search led us to a special Thermoplastic material blend which provided extra rigidity without sacrificing tone or memory. The end result was a new line of picks D'Andrea dubbed as ProPlecs. Available in 7 Shapes all gauged at 1.5mm, ProPlecs are the choice of many professional guitarists!
